The Story

Chalisa has been hit by misfortune since her youth.

When she was twenty years old she was involved in a motorcycle accident where she lost her left leg.

Five years ago she developed a skin cancer on her scalp. After a long treatment involving several therapies, it seemed that she had overcome it.
A year after, she was diagnosed with a colon cancer. The skin cancer before been cured, has metastasized in her colon.

She received again several therapies like radiation therapy, cell targeting therapy, laser therapy . Finally last year she was declared free of cancerous cetlls.

Then right after her heart condition deteriorated maybe due to the chemotherapy she received.
She had to undergo procedure for the placement of a stent in her artery. Everything was looking good.

Then last month, while shopping in town, walking a small slope she lost balance and fell backwards. She hit the back of her head on the pavement . She was spilling blood from her nose and mouth.. Fortunately she wasn't alone and her friend took her urgently to the hospital.

There she got a Xray . She had a swollen brain and internal bleeding. Next day the doctor performed an operation in order to take out the blood inside the skull.

It went well but the doctor discovered at the same time some tumors in her brain.

She got a CT scan last week and they discovered a big tumor and several other smaller ones.

She had to receive treatment urgently.

The cost of the treatment is staggering. But money is nothing compared to be alive.

The doctor said that she needed at least 12 times of radiation therapy.

As the main tumor was big, she got two times treatment continually for five days this week and another treatment today. But the doctor said that she needed 10 more treatments to get rid of the cancerous cells.

It will cost at least 80,000 baths.

But I have exhausted all my savings until now in order to save her and to make her live longer.

But now, short of money Chalisa has to stop the treatment just in the mid of it. It’s like condemning her to a certain death because her brain type of cancer is an aggressive one.

So please I beg you. Save Chalisa with your donations. Help her continue her treatment and make her live please.
