Monday morning we went to Sukhumvit Rd soi 1 by the railroad tracks where you will find many homes along it. Hopefully these pictures captures the atmosphere that day. Quite a few photos as I feel every face gives you a better idea of everyone coming together.
Hot meals prepared by Sunrise Bistro and sponsored by Dinner from the Sky. TCB Security brought the rice, soap, powdered milk and snacks. Water was donated by Ronald Eikenberg and Theerat Sachdev and Joe. Thanks guys. ❤️❤️❤️
Paul MasaDwight Teunissen and son Pikun Wangsantia Sakesan Theyab MT and others for helping. Thanks. ❤️
Monday afternoon we went to the homeless living around the gates of Lumphini Park. They enjoyed the hot meals along the canal that runs besides the park.
Special thanks to donation of Dinner from the Sky for hot meals at the park, Khun Nat from Daily Dose and Khun Jul and Nuit for their donations today! ❤️
What a day! Pikun Wangsantia invited us to help the community living in Sukhumvit 36. Her house is situated near the recycling center on Sukumvit 36, Hence, she witness some poor group of people, These group of people are truly living a difficult life, day by day picking recycle stuff from trash to sell, and even more difficulty with the government enforcement curfew law.
One morning while she was opening her noodle shop, a poor man was standing in front of her shop and ordering a bowl noodle soup, therefore she had a conversation with him while she was preparing his meal, though she understood how hard his life and others during this time. “I could not find enough recycle stuff to sell, so I did not eat since yesterday” he spoke. She felt very bad about his situation. Then, she served him a bowl of noodle and he tried to pay with some coins in his hand. He opens his palm and she could see one 10 baht coin, and 6-7 one baht coins in total did not reach even 20 bahts. “That’s all I have, I spent some coins on the drinking water machine so I have clean water to drink.” She felt terribly bad and insisted that he kept his money and the noodle is for free. Unexpectedly, He sat on the floor and bow his head with two hands to thank her over and over.
During Covid-19 pandemics, many peoples might think this time is such a bad time in life; Brothers, sisters and friends, Trust me there are more people who face the worst situations than us. We never know if just simple one meal has so much meaning in their life. This one meal could help them through another day fighting with difficulty. From that experience, was what today was all about. So others could have a hot meal and some more meals at home.
A joint effort of multiple organisations and companies. The original plan was 350 families but only 30 minutes after starting there were a good 600 people in line. Because of these joint efforts we were able to help everyone! ❤️ Handing out bags of rice, canned fish, water, different warm meals, soap, hand sanitizer, candy, cookies, snacks, milk, juice, face mask, face shield as well as powered milk, toys, and some teddy bears for the kids!
Again a big thanks to everyone involved and everyone who supports our iniatives! Big thanks as well to our celebrity team today: Miss Thailand, Miss Grand Thailand 2018, Miss Earth, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Supra 2019! You all stood your ground in the blazing heat!
Faces behind the mask. Many wonderful children and Miss Thailand, Miss Grand Thailand, Miss LGBT Thailand, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Earth and Miss Supra 2019
All of the Beauty Queens worked the whole event. It was not just a photo opportunity and went home. They stayed all the time in the very hot and humid conditions and greeting many of the residents of Sukhumvit Soi 36. Very impressed with the effort by all by buddies and the ladies. ❤️
Today was a super day as we were able to go into the community at Sukhumvit Soi 36 and meet some of the residents. Some residents were not able to make the journey to see us and collect some food stuffs so we went to see them. Some of them are sick of cancer or have another life threatening disease. Giving these people life necessities such as food & water as well as our love is a very precious thing ❤️
What a amazing experience. All of our team really loves these moments and it was truly the highlight of our day and from seeing the smiles, it was theirs as well.
Yesterday we were back in the community of Onnut Soi 88. A special thanks to K. Kitpon the chairman of The Bangkok Metropolitan Council who was able to help us with clearance and provided police for social distancing in matter of minutes.
Today we prepared for 100 families but we actually had 400 plus people we helped.
The contrast is stark, you will see beautiful vintage and sports cars but right outside this warehouse, is where very poor families live by a landfill. We are always here when they need our help and a special thank you for the successful business owner letting us to use the warehouse so we were not out in the hot sun.
Would you be so kind as well to help others

Social distancing, hand sanizting and temperature checks for everyone ✔️ Thanks to Paul Masa and Dwight Teunissen for help with this. Next time I will bring the shirt.
Another good day planned tomorrow for 120 older people in the Sukhumvit Rd soi 62 area. They requested adult diapers, rice, oil and eggs. First time there. A friend Wim Reijnen suggested this area. We will go door to door as most of them are bed ridden and don’t walk much.
Later in the week, more families with children and why I bought the milk for the kids today as they called yesterday asking if could bring milk for six newborn and two year old kids .
In 2020 we have two crisis~ Covid and economic. If you are lucky not to have covid or be in a financial situation. Please be thankful. Visas, tacos, covered for covid by the Thai government, where I can get the best ribs in Bangkok, Is my hair too long ? ... nothing of that really matters when on a respirator or living in true poverty. 2020 is about caring for people to make other lives better. If that is you wearing a mask or helping others in worse shape then you financial. We might all just survive 2020.
Pictures taken at the Kongkem slums.

April 21st .... This morning at the Rajavithi Hospital Dinner from the Sky gave something back to our heroes! ❤️ It is these people, working day in day out caring and curing patients that make the real difference! Being away from home and family in 2-week shifts putting their lives on the line to help save others!
We were honoured to be joined by Mr. Hans van den Born (Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce) handing over the donation for all food and drinks on behalf of Mr. Gerard van Hal
April 18... Every country has the poor area.
NongKem slums really will show what hunger and poor is. Jen JA , Uncle and I visited to help out to brighten their day a bit.
This area has no covid yet but if it does. It will be very hard for them to afford a test. Many are not Thai and not covered in the social system. If you can donate, it will be helpful. The test is 2,000 to 3,000 baht ( the cheapest we have found )
