- Who we are

The Ban Nai Soi Community Learning Center seeks to provide a high school education, practical vocational skills, and community development skills to high school aged children living in the Mae Hong Son Province area of Thailand and along Thai – Myanmar border.

- What our NGO doing to address the issue

The primary goal of the Ban Nai Soi Community Learning Center(BNSCLC) is to provide a high school level education and key language skills to students currently living in the Mae Hong Son area and along though Thai – Myanmar border. The school’s curriculum focuses on English, Burmese, Karenni, and Thai languages, organic farming, computer skills, Community Development and management . It is our hope that this education will give the students the opportunity to become valuable and successful leaders and educators to provide help and development within their communities .Through the cooperation of the Thai Education Ministry’s Gaw Saw Naw program, students that complete the two years of study at the BNSCLC will have a Thai high school certificate that will allow them to attend university within the Thai system.

- How will we use the donations

According though now we have 50 students as in next academic year , we will accepted students for 70 – 80 students that will be 27 students each class who will used for computers but computers can be used only for 2 computers from 3 computers also 1 computer was broken and can not fixed anymore , chairs and tables were broken and not enough for students to used during they study in the computer class as well as the computer room is needs to renovations such as windows and wall of computer class room (Please find attached picture). Also camera that we bought since 2008 got old so when we upload photos and videos though website and you tube , the guilty was not good.

Breakdown :

1. Computers 12 computers X 18,000 baht = 216,000 baht

2. Chairs 25 chairs X 300 baht = 7,500 baht

3. Big tables 8 tables X 2,400 baht = 19,200 baht

4. Fixing computer room = 10,000 baht

5. Camera Canon = 22,000 baht

TOTAL : 274,700 baht
