In a small rural community in Thailand lives an elderly woman who has endured more than most of us could ever imagine. She has lost her husband and son far too soon. Her humble home, the only thing she has left, is now struggling to survive as well. The rainy season not only brings water through the leaky roof but also a wave of worry and despair.

The Challenge:
This house, which has offered no protection against the elements for years, is more than just a structure—it is a symbol of strength, memory, and hope. But with each rainy season, it weakens further. The leaky roof and the flooded veranda during heavy rains make life unbearable. In the past, the woman even sold parts of her land to survive. Now, nothing remains.

The Family:
The two daughters of this loving mother, who themselves have only modest incomes, dream of helping her. However, the cost of building a small and safe home far exceeds their means. The family needs approximately 500,000 Baht to construct a simple but sturdy house that will allow their mother to live with dignity.
