Hello everyone! My name is Kungten Wachida Watcharased, and I'm the developer and founder of "Baan Happy," a Thai-made pet care platform. Today, I'd like to use this space on Weeboon to communicate my intention to create a system that will drive the Thai economy and help our four-legged friends. The origin of "Baan Happy" stems from my personal experience using pet sitting platforms that charged caregivers a high fee of up to 25%. Most of these platforms are foreign-owned, meaning a significant amount of money that should be Thai income is unfortunately flowing out of the country. For example: A caregiver pays 250 baht per day for caring for a dog for 4 days. Upon completion of their work, they receive 1,000 baht, but a 25% fee is immediately deducted, amounting to 250 baht – equivalent to a full day's wages. From this problem, I decided to use my knowledge and experience in software development and AI technology to create the "Baan Happy" platform specifically to solve this issue. Our core principles are: 1.) Restoring income fairness: We are a 100% Thai-owned platform that charges only 15% fees, ensuring every baht circulates within the country and reaches Thai people. 2.) Creating equal opportunities and careers: This platform is open to all animal lovers, including students, housewives, freelancers, and those seeking supplemental income, providing a stable and secure source of income. 3.) Spreading happiness to stray animals: For every 1% of the platform's revenue, we donate to help stray dogs and cats nationwide, making every hiring a charitable act. Previously, we used our own funds and hard work to develop the system and test the AI technology. The system is now 95% ready for Thai users. However, we currently lack the necessary funding for cloud provider services, server infrastructure, and security systems to ensure the platform is fully operational. Therefore, we humbly request your kind support. We have raised 65,000 baht to cover the initial back-end system costs, ensuring this Thai platform can operate stably and securely for users. Summary of the 65,000 baht raised: Cloud and server costs to support the database; AI system infrastructure and user data security; Payment Gateway fees. I believes that "Baan Happy" will not just be an application, but a platform that creates sustainable careers for Thais and a true model for the new generation to contribute to society.
