Sawadee krap!
With my 30th birthday just around the corner, I wanted to take the opportunity to embark on one last big cycle in my twenties!
For anybody who’s listened to me after a few pints the past 2 years, I’ve made my ambitions to cycle the length of Thailand no secrect.
However, between logistics, restrictions, my poor forward-planning and a mates wedding, I’ll at least for now, be embarking on a shorter cycle to Udon Thani, Isaan.
On November 6th, I’ll be cycling solo approximately 370 miles north from Bangkok in the baking sun and monsoon rain, to arrive in Udon Thani, where I’ll be greeted by my friends with a nice cold bottle of Singha.
I'll be taking this opportunity to raise money for an incredible charity here in Bangkok that I’d love your help supporting!
During the pandemic, Bangkok Community Help Foundation has been providing relief to those who have had no help, in the way of food and basic amenities, as well as beds for the sick.
They continue to do incredible work in the poorest communities in the city as well as their recent work, providing food and help for those trapped by flooding in Ayutthaya.
As a birthday wish, I’m asking you to support this great charity, and for your money, you will be safe in the knowledge that my arse will be dead, my skin will be fried and you may have made someone’s life in Thailand a little easier.
Thank you for your support and see you on the other side!
