The Story

I am Olga Proshchenko, wife of Bert Bevans and mother of our children, who were born and raised in Phuket. My beloved husband, Bert Bevans, tragically passed away on 5th January 2026. He arrived at Heathrow, where he was found unresponsive. Emergency services were called, and he was taken to Hillingdon Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of his passing. Bert’s eldest son, Taharqua Osei Bevans, was informed that the process could take a week or two. In the meantime, Taharqua has contacted several cremation services to begin arrangements and will provide more information once he has spoken further with the hospital.

I am urgently raising funds to support Bert’s farewell ceremony, obtain an urgent visa to England, and secure tickets for me and our children so we can attend and say our final goodbye. This sudden loss is devastating for our family, and being there is crucial for us to honor his memory and be together during this difficult time.
