The Story

Emergency Medical Services (Ambulances) in Thailand are funded by individual E.M.T. operators themselves. They pay for their own training, and annual re-certification and buy the vehicle, fully kit it out with all necessary medical hardware to respond to any emergency, this means oxygen, stretchers, defibrillators, all the bandages braces and medical bits and pieces.

Two young and harworking E.M.T.s have done just this, they completed their training and set up their own ambulance and for the last 2 years have been providing emergency response services in the Sattahip to Pattaya local area.

In these times of the Covid pandemic they are concious of the risk of having to provide a response to covid positive patients,They are in need of a portable ventilator to ensure their ambulance is equipped to help those in need in these times of Covid 19.

These machines brand new are extremely expensive, but reconditioned perfectly good condition units can be obtained, Even so they are not cheap and cost in the region of 30,000Thb (appx £700),
That is our target, if you can help in any way, you can be assured that the money is going towards potentially lifesaving, essential emergency equipment.

Thank you for taking the time to read our appeal and hopefully making a donation.
