Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, Thailand tries to improve English learning by create the first group of change agents to practice English skills with English speakers at Malaysia, a neighboring country in Association of South East Asian Nations: ASEAN. The activities will be hold on April 1st -30th, 2019 covered school principals and teachers training for communicative English language skills and teaching techniques, English camp for students and participating English learning development together with 3 Malaysian schools that consist of Wadi Sofia International School, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Panji and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Geting. This project will solve English skills of participants that is a serious problem for students, school principals and teachers in Loei, a countryside province.
In order to run this project we need about $35,000 for 25 students, 20 teachers, 14 school principals and 2 officers to stay in Malaysia for 1 month. The fund will be pay for transportations, accommodation, trainers, and meterials.
We hope this activity will create an opportunity for disadvantage students to learn English and lead them to have positive attitude toward English, love learning English and can use English for daily life communication. Furthermore, English teachers will have potential in English teaching professionally and the school principals will have awareness in English learning and support English instruction at their schools.
