Help Claudia Wilkinson with her medical bills

Our dear Sister on Samui friend, mother, Grandmother, sister and 'Fairy Godmother' is in hospital battling some difficult health issues, we thankyou all for your prayers, thoughts, positive vibes and visits to her thus far, giving her the encouragement to fight on.

She needs some support for the mounting medical bills. She has been in the care of Bangkok Hospital Koh Samui for two weeks in ICU, with a weak heart, liquid on her lungs, double pneumonia and struggling red blood cell count, and yesterday was moved to Koh Samui Hospital for a lung tap operation. The last few days she has been sedated to give her weak body its best chance for medics to perform a CT scan which ruled out any sort of lung tumor, and the lung tap will aid to remove the liqud on her lungs, that could lead to infection if there too long.

Medics have said her recovery will take time, and we know this level of care will have further costs, so we ask you to help with any amount you or your family or friends can contribute. It will all greatly help Claudia while she focuses on getting well again.

Claudia is known and loved by so many on Koh Samui, a long term resident, who has always been generous in her friendship and care for those around her. Her daughters and family in the UK and friends there along with Samui folks are all ralling their support to her as she works on getting well again.

Claudia is still in ICU at Koh Samui Hospital. She has been there since the end of October. She remains on a ventilator, her lungs weak whilst fighting infection. A lung tap was done last week to reduce liquid build up. She is anemic and has received blood top ups. During part of this time over the past few weeks she has been mildly sedated to give her body the best chance to recover. This week her Doctors hope she can breath more unadided, her lung infection reduces and that her recovery moves forward.

It is a long road ahead for Claudia, after over a month being bed bound and unwell.

We ask you to dig deep to help with the medical bills, while she focuses on getting better.

For those folks who have supported in some way already - Kop Khun Ka - Thankyou. Her fur kids look forward to having their Human home again soon.
