Hi my name is Shannon, and I'm helping a Myanmar family, where the mother used to be a much loved nanny/ housekeeper to one of my closest friends, Adrian, who moved out of country.
Hanthi San is a young mother with 2 kids, 6 years old and 11 months - disheartening to me since my kids are so close to that age - and HER HOUSE BURNED DOWN in Myanmar - I just cannot imagine if I or anyone I knew was in that situation. She and her husband are both out of work due to COVID and had to move back to their home country. Her husband fell short with the F&B fallout, working at a sous chef in Bangkok at a western restaurant. That alongside, with what is going on in Myanmar - even harder to find work.
Hanthi San is looking to rebuild her house and would require 50,000 Baht or $1,500 USD total where she will also start using the front of the house as a store to sell pizza, hamburgers and some simple foods she and her husband picked up while working in Thailand.
I know many are also in need and probably supporting other charities at this time - but if you can - would love if you can contribute or pay humanity forward by sharing this campaign. :)
I have attached pictures of her burned building, and if this campaign allows - also have a video of where she currently lives - a hut? outside her sister-in-law's house with all her kids' clothes strewn outside.
Thank you in advance and deepest thank you :)
DISCLAIMER - once we hit the target, the funds will be taken out from this site and go direct to Hanthi San's Thai bank account and all transactions will be recorded by this site and I will help with sending reports on building, progress, and completion of house.
