Hi everyone,
Some questionable life decisions are currently being made…
On 9 May 2026, I’ll be stepping into a boxing ring for the Phuket White Collar Boxing Charity Event to raise funds for the Children First Fund, supporting underprivileged children across Phuket.
At 53, I’ve reached a point where staying fit, active, and mentally sharp has become more important than ever — not just for myself, but also as an example that age should never define what we’re capable of. I truly believe that 50+ isn’t a limitation, and that with commitment, discipline, and the right mindset, 53 can still feel very close to 35 — just with a longer warm-up and a bit more respect for recovery.
So yes… voluntarily signing up to get punched in the face in front of a few hundred people was not exactly part of the original life plan — but it felt like the right kind of challenge: stepping out of the comfort zone, pushing boundaries, and hopefully inspiring others to stay active, brave, and curious at any age.
The good news is: it’s all for a great cause.
The bad news is: someone will definitely try to punch me.
I’ve set myself a minimum fundraising target of THB 88,000 — aiming to channel a bit of Leo the Lionheart spirit for this one
So if you’d like to support the cause — and perhaps slightly increase my motivation to keep my guard up and survive the evening — any donation would be hugely appreciated.
Every contribution helps provide children with better nutrition, education, and opportunities.
Thank you for supporting (and possibly laughing at) this adventure.
