My name is Sa Khant Shu Shaung (Michael Khant), and I am 21 years old. I was born in Myanmar and attended elementary school in my village. Later, I moved to study at Basic Education High School in Shwelaung, a town near our village.
I was born into a poor family, and our financial situation has always been unstable. To support us, my father decided to work in Singapore, where he worked hard for the family. I completed my matriculation exam in Kyaunggon and passed in 2019. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all students had to pause their education.
During this time, I attended Myanmar Christian Bible Institute in Yangon, where I studied for two years and graduated in 2022. Afterward, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a professional nurse, a goal I have had since childhood. Unfortunately, because of the military situation in Myanmar, I was unable to attend a government university. Instead, I enrolled in a college, where I completed a Diploma in Nurse Assistance and earned certifications in Water Safety and First Aid.
However, I received a letter for compulsory military service, forcing me to leave my school and hide from my hometown. As a result, I relocated to Thailand, where I sought opportunities to continue my education. I studied hard and completed the GED, which has allowed me to be admitted to the Nursing program at Asia-Pacific International University.
Now, I am determined to pursue my nursing degree, but I need financial support to cover my university tuition fees. Any donation to support my education would be deeply appreciated.
