Dear friends and animal lovers,
We're "Chi Jungle Man" and we are taking care of 3 female elephants: a 1 and 1/2year old baby Bai Boua, her 23 years old mother Buatong and the 68 years old adoptive grandma Mae Lou, in Chiang Mai (Thailand).
We're trying to give them the best life possible in their natural habitat, together as a family.
We're funding everything for them: food, home, lands, care, as well as for their caretakers the mahouts, thanks to the visits of our customers.
We welcome visitors in small group to observe elephants in nature and watch their natural behavior.
(You can see our work on our social media Facebook or Instagram @chijungleman.)
However this year we have been dealing with a very low touristic season, few bookings and cancellations due to the Middle East war.
Our funds are getting really low and we barely have enough to survive each month.
Unfortunately this is also the moment that the elephant shelter we built completely broke down due to heavy rain and strong wind.
We had to rebuild it temporarily because we're in the rainy season and the elephants need a safe place to sleep.
We also had to send our grandma elephant to the hospital to treat her for eyes problems.
She's been there for a month already and has to stay few more weeks.
We already paid for a part of her treatment but the cost is rising everyday.
We know that everyone is struggling at the moment with rising prices, we've been impacted a lot too.
The people who already know us can tell you that we only ask for help for real emergencies.
We want to rebuild the shelter with stronger material and we estimated the cost of work to 100 000 bahts (around 3000 USD, 2600 Euros...).
We're asking for your help to support our elephant family and our work.
Every donation count, every Baht, Euro, Dollar, Pound...can significantly help us.
Thank you for reading us.
Thank you for any help you can give, whether it's money or sharing this campaign with your friends, family, colleagues.
We'll be really grateful.
