The Story

My name is Tom Richards. In December 2026, I will embark on a trek from Bangkok to Phuket — a distance of over 850km — to raise money for the Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation.

As a full-time teacher in Phuket, I have just 21 days to complete the journey and return in time for work in early January. This means covering approximately 42km every day, with no days off.

I am meticulously planning the logistics of the trek to ensure it is as safe and efficient as possible, while also preparing the appropriate gear and equipment. I will be sharing regular updates on my Instagram page, including interviews with foundation staff and other relevant information.
