I’ve never set foot in a boxing ring before.
Yet in just a few weeks, at nearly 70 years old, I’ll be stepping through the ropes in front of 400 people at Phuket White Collar Boxing. It follows three months of early starts, aching muscles, and more moments of doubt than I care to admit.
I’m doing this to challenge myself in a way I never have before—but above all, to raise funds for the Phuket Children’s First Fund, supporting vulnerable and orphaned children here on the island.
At my age, you tend to think carefully about why you take on something like this. If I’m going to take a few punches, it should be for a cause that truly matters.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a genuine difference to children who deserve safety, opportunity, and hope for the future. Our goal is to raise enough to provide a new mobile library that will serve all seven orphanages in Phuket.
Thank you for your support. Now it’s time to step into the ring—for something far bigger than myself.
We can do this!!
