Phuket Women’s Peer Support Group for Emotional and Mental Health

Phuket Women’s Peer Support Group for Emotional and Mental Health was founded by Milla Budiarto on January 15, 2022. The peer support group meeting is led by Milla and another co-facilitator who is a certified counselor. We meet every other Saturday morning in a private room at a café in Phuket Town. The peer support group meetings are free of charge and open to English-speaking Thais and foreigners in Phuket who identify themselves as women. Our team are all volunteers, based in Phuket, Thailand.

What do we do?

The team is primarily medical-based (ambulance, response vehicles, etc.).
We do everything from attending road traffic collisions, medical emergencies, dealing with deceased bodies, charging car batteries, snake rescues, and also disasters (natural and otherwise)

We are fundraising for these reasons:
1. Equipment (all our volunteers pay for everything themselves) from uniforms to medical bags and everything else in between.
2. help support free CPR training to local charities that otherwise wouldn’t have access to the training
