Charlie Pulaski is a well-loved, long-term resident of Phuket with a loving wife, three kids and lots of dogs.  After experiencing migraines for a number of weeks, he had a CT scan on 3 June followed by an MRI scan the following day.   The doctors found a 4.5 cm tumour on Charlie's left frontal lobe.  The doctor in Vachira Hospital Phuket advised that surgery would be necessary but that he recommended it be done at a bigger hospital with specialised equipment.    Charlie had the operation at Vimut Hospital in Bangkok on 13 June.  Lab results on the nature of the tumour are expected over the next couple of days, but doctors have already advised that it is highly probable that chemo and/or radiation will be required.   Charlie does have medical insurance but it is becoming evident that this is going to fall woefully short of the bill.    As such the financial situation has exacerbated an already terrifying and stressful ordeal.  If you could find it in your heart to help alleviate some of the burden, Charlie, Mary, Olivia, Asher and Io would all be eternally grateful.
