All donations will be used for food or vet bills for Fishi living on Koh Samui at Mai Place of Aforetime.
Fishi’s story hasn’t been an easy one… but it led her home . She was found at just four months old, suffering from a severe skin infection. Kind people took her to the vet and helped her heal, but her journey was only just beginning.
Not long after, she was placed somewhere with another puppy—yet they weren’t truly welcomed there. Then in November 2024, tragedy struck: Fishi was hit by a truck. She dislocated her front leg, broke her back leg, and even lost some teeth. After nearly a month of fighting through treatments at different vets, she finally made it through.
A kind woman gave her a temporary home, but when she had to leave Koh Samui, Fishi’s life changed again. She was brought to a temple to stay with a family — but they left soon after, abandoning her and another puppy. The other puppy was quickly rescued and adopted. Fishi, however, was left behind — lonely and lost. She disappeared. But her story didn’t end there. Friends of her rescuers searched for her… and found her at Mai Place (Aforetime). And somehow, Fishi had already chosen it as her forever home. Since that day, the hostel has given her everything she deserves: a warm place to sleep, food, and most importantly — love. Fishi is now vaccinated, sterilized, and believed to have been born around June 2024. After everything she’s been through, she finally belongs.
