Stuart is a kind and loving man, but his heart is breaking. Literally! A few months ago he had surgery to repair a torn valve, but the repair hasn't held, and now he needs a complete replacement. Unfortunately because of the way things work in Thailand he needs to have the funds before they will operate.

Stuart Anderson is a beloved member of the international fashion and stretch pattern-making communities. He has dedicated his career to creating stunning, innovative, and inclusive patterns. More than that, he is an educator and mentor to thousands around the world. Stuart hosts multiple online educational resources for aspiring and established designers to further develop their skills. The best part? He always strives to make this education accessible and at times free, especially for students. Now Stuart and his family are in urgent need of funds, and we, his friends, are setting up this campaign for him!

Stuart is an incredibly hard worker and self-determined. He literally convinced his nurse to make copies of paper patterns while in the hospital so he could keep working while he waited for emergency medical consultation. (Yet another reason we all love him!)

Stuart is a devoted family man, caring not only for his wife and their two small daughters, but his parents in law, siblings and nephew. These people all rely on Stuart getting the surgery he needs. And to make things worse, his father-in-law has now had a stroke, so the family has even less support and more medical bills.

Stuart is so generous with his friends and family. He gives freely of his time and money within his community, he is always ready to help those in need.

Stuart shares his heart with the world. Now it is our turn to return the favor.

Our Pattern School community is working to raise 550,000 Thai Bhat to assist with Stuart's operation and recovery costs. Will you please help this beloved husband, father, and mentor, and donate today?

Amazed how fast we could get started with taking in donations for our projects. During this Covid-19 crisis, time is of essence, so we were very happy to find this out of the box solution!
