OBJECTIVE

Our project aims at working with local people in the North East of Thailand, a rural village 100 km from the Mekong river.  We want to refocuse destructive agricultural practices, especially for production of Cash crops, as Sugar Cane and Cassava, to more resilient farming methods. Using Permaculture and traditional techniques on a relatively small plot of land, we can demonstrate to the farmers of the comunity how to meet the basic home needs of Water, Food and Shelter, without depending on the fluctuations of the Commodity market.

PROGRAM

- Purchase a plot of land of 1 Hectare.

- Earthworks ( Rainwater Harvesting Facilities as Fish Ponds, Swales and Water Tanks).

- Establish a Plant Nursery and Seed Bank.

- Establish a Food Forest ( Integrated Agroforestry System).

- Build a House and Knowledge Sharing Facility.

- Set Up a Vegetable Garden.

- Prepare a Paddy Field for Organic Rice Cultivation.

- Integrate Animals in the developed Ecosystem.

- SHARE WITH THE COMUNITY!

FOUNDERS

- Davide Foresti:

Italian National, 29 years of age, developed experience in Sustainable Agriculture and Tourism in the European Alps, collaborated with Educational Projects in Thailand.

- Wannapa Sukseekee:

Thai National, 31 years of age, Experienced Farmer, member of the Comunity.

Amazed how fast we could get started with taking in donations for our projects. During this Covid-19 crisis, time is of essence, so we were very happy to find this out of the box solution!
