A week ago my friend had an accident on a motorbike on Koh Samui. Coming down a step hill, the brakes on the motorbike failed to work. My friend suffered multiple complicated fractures to her left leg. She has undergone surgery two times already and will have a third surgery next week. The hospital bill is already over 150,000 baht and likey to end up over 200,000 baht. The insurance of the motorbike had unfortunately expired.. She is Thai and at the government hospital on Koh Samui, however the 30 baht scheme does not cover for accidents. She is very sad and desperate as she does not have the funds herself, and no one in her family has this kind of money either. It will take months before she can work but the debt to the hospital needs to be paid, somehow.  Please help me help her! Any donation however small counts.
