In light of this year's theme for International Women's Day: DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality, I am helping Pratthanadee Foundation, https://pratthanadee.org/, raise 400,000 to purchase 10 laptops that will be used to bring the Better Me Program to more women and girls up-country and to replace the foundation's ancient laptop at hand with some admin expenses.
Laptop donations also welcome!
The Better Me Program is a 9 month program that helps bring awareness and education for: Future Planning, Financial Planning, Interviewing & Salary Negotiation Skills, Job Search, English, Self-Defense, Basic Rights, Basic Healthcare, Small Business Entrepreneurship, and overall building confidence and skills.
The aim is to utilize these laptops up-country through the top students who are returning home to their cities, to educate and onboard more women and girls who may be interested in the program.
Prattanadee has empowered over 30,000 women and girls through these courses in the last 20 yrs.
We would love to extend an invitation with all of you to help me in raising awareness and a contribution to helping Prathanadee spread access, awareness and education to more women and girls across the nation. A stronger women base, helps lead to stronger families and communities, and thus a stronger nation.
Our mission:
The mission of the Pratthanadee Foundation is to empower underprivileged women and girls in Thailand. We do this by providing access to free careers guidance, personal development workshops and mentoring, equipping undereducated women and girls from poor backgrounds with the tools they need to protect themselves, make healthy life decisions, and access safe and meaningful work. We help them to improve their situation, increase their economic earning power and create a better future.
For our families and future families living in Thailand - Thank you.
