To all Koh Phangan-ers and anyone who wants to pay it forward, 

Veteran islander - Pino Haad Rin - has graced the sands of Haad Rin Beach for over 30 years, welcoming beach volleyball players from over the world with his easy smile and warm heart.

He doesn't have much, but has shared dear memories with those who have met him, and has touched the hearts of many. 

Now Pino needs you help.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

Pino had a very serious motorbike accident last Sunday.

He was driving on the Haad Rin Hills, on Koh Phangan, on the newly constructed road, and hit a rock which sent him flying.  

Pino has broken many ribs and has obtained some internal organ damage.

Emergency surgery was needed, which was successful, but has cost a huge debt of 150,000THB.

Unsure of his future recovery, he will not be able to work and will need help with his living expenses until he gets his retirement settlement. 

But I hope with your help we can at least pay for his hospital bills, to help ease his pain, so he can make a full recovery. 

If you are able to support and help him financially, follow the steps below. No donation is too small, it's the thought that counts. 

If not, please send him your highest vibrations and prayers for his recovery.

I want to thank all the friends who have helped me in this time of need. I will be forever grateful to you.

I am recovering my strength and energy.

So far we have paid for Pino’s surgery. The rest will go to his recovery and his trip back to Italy to be with his family during this trying time. It’s been a nightmare but with everybody’s well wishes Pino will make yet another comeback!

Amazed how fast we could get started with taking in donations for our projects. During this Covid-19 crisis, time is of essence, so we were very happy to find this out of the box solution!
