The Story

My name is Kristofer McCourt. I'm a Canadian living in and working in Thailand since 2012. I am a business owner and I am married to a Thai woman. We have two young children together, son 7 years old and daughter 1.5 years old. In july of 2023, my wife was caught embezzling money from my company and stole funds from my business partners. When she was confronted she ran away, taking the money, my car and our two children. She has not allowed the kids to attend their schools since May 15th 2023. She is currently in hiding. My children's whereabouts are unknown and I fear for their safety. We have all proof and evidence of her crimes and court ordered release of information to get the bank statements and freeze her accounts. I have started the process of filing police reports and criminal lawsuits against my wife. I am seeking financial support in paying for the costs of legal fees and a private investigator to assist the police in finding them. There are court dates set for multiple lawsuits against her but she will not appear as she is in hiding. Aside from my own lawsuits there are others by my business partners and our landlords are also suing her. She is facing prison sentences for the criminal and labor cases against her. If I am able to acheive my funding goal, the money will be used to pay for a family lawyer, a corporate lawyer and a private investigator. I need to find my children, and get full custody of them with a divorcve finalzied so that I can take them with me back to Canada where they will have a much better life and I will have the support of others nearby. She will serve her prison sentences and I want to have full custody of my children whom I love with all of my heart. It's been extremely hard not knowing where they are or who they are with during this time. Their teachers, friends and our neighbors are also very worried about them. If I am able to reach my goal and pay the costs necessary in getting my children out of unsafe conditons Iwill be extremely grateful. I want funders to know that they are not helping me, but they are helping my children who are in the care of unfit people. Thank you very much for your support.
