Help Ban Dan is the first official project of Help Thai. Ban Dan is a village in Buriram in the North East of Thailand. According to the UNDP, the rural parts of the North East of Thailand have the greatest amount of poverty in the country. This is one of the main reasons as to why this is the starting point for this journey in helping children across Thailand.
This campaign is to provide an annual fund to support the growing elderly population in Ban Dan, Buriram. We communicate constantly with municipal officials looking after this community to find out what basic supplies the community is currently lacking. This fund will go first and foremost, towards medical supplies such as wheelchairs, walking sticks as well as blankets. Your donation will also go towards supporting basic quality of living of these elderlies such as providing essential household items.
Imagine the daily struggle of elderly individuals in poverty, facing mobility challenges without the basic aid of a wheelchair or walking stick. Many of them are confined to their homes, unable to access essential services or simply enjoy a stroll outdoors. With your support, we can change that. By donating to our campaign to purchase wheelchairs and walking sticks for the elderly population in our community, you're offering more than just mobility aids; you're granting freedom and independence. Your contribution will allow these seniors to regain their mobility, reconnect with their community, and live with the dignity they deserve. Let's come together to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. Your generosity can transform the lives of our elderly neighbors, one step at a time. Donate now and help us provide mobility and hope to those in need.
