A fourteen year old Thai/Russian boy were in a bike accident last week. He have a severe injury to the right plexus brachialis roots, this is the nerves to the right upper limb. As of now his right arm is paralyzed.
There are two alternatives for treatment:
1 wait and see if the nerves heals itself.
2 operate.
The thai doctors have concluded on alternative 1.
Russian and Norwegian doctors who has examined the hospital records both agree that alternative 2 (neurosurgery) is best. And it’s advised with early operation for best result.
The family need to travel to Russia to do the surgery. They do not have insurance and Medical treatment is expensive.
The boy is an active jiujutsu athlete, math lover and caring big brother. We would hate it if his right gets paralyzed for life. Every contribution (no matter size) you would offer is greatly appreciated.
My name is Lise Tynes, I am from Norway and I am a paparent at his school. In addition his coach and the gym also supports this fundraiser.
All funds will go directly to the family.
