Center for Girls Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for women and children in Chiang Khong. At Center for Girls Foundation, we believe in the importance of empowering others to empower themselves. As such, CFG utilizes a participatory, face-to-face approach to work with women, children, and community members on leadership training, life skills classes, and other educational programs. Together with schools, police, businesses, NGOs, and the village communities, CFG creates strong networks through which those at risk of exploitation and abuse can be identified, educated, and supported.

The Story

Center for Girls supports women's financial independence to help themselves and their communities grow!

Center for Girls will open a café and Visitors' Center where you can buy a cup of coffee along with clothes, soap and other handicrafts that the women in our community have hand-made.

By doing this, the café can employ 2 women and create a space for female entrepreneurs to earn a fair wage from their products.
