Since we had to close the company due to Covid, for the last 4 months, Chi went back to his village located along the Salawin river, near Mae Sam Laep.
As you may know, a large number of Karen people from Myanmar fled their country after the coup that happened on February 1st. They crossed the Salawin river, which is the border between Myanmar and Thailand, and arrived to Mae Sam Laep and further North to Chi's village.
For the last few months Chi helped at first the doctors when the refugees arrived injured from the bombings, then helped at the kitchen to feed them and now he's helping some association to deliver rice and other necessities to the Karen refugees as well as to the Karen people from Thailand.
We created Chi Jungle Man to help the elephants and the Karen community.
But the help Chi can give at the moment is only his hands since he doesn't have money anymore due to Covid and the closure of his company.
So if you'd like to support him and help the Karen community, you can make a donation through this campaign.
The money raised will help him to buy food, clothes, put gazoline in his car for the delivery...
We will keep this campaign opened as long as he stays there.
Thank you for your help.
