For more than 10 years, the Association for the Promotion of Children, Youth, and Families (APCYF) has organized teaching and learning for preschool children, including the children of migrant workers, in the Mae Kha Subdistrict, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province. There are a total of 80 students between the ages of 1.8 - 3 years. Most children who come to study at the center do not have identification documents, preventing them from attending state childcare centers. Their parents are migrant workers from poverty-stricken Myanmar. Moreover, during the daytime, when children follow their parents to work in the orange orchards, they are exposed to risks from chemicals and miss out on essential developmental opportunities to prepare them for school. Services for children at the preparatory center include organizing activities to promote development in four key areas and enhancing early childhood experiences. The center provides free lunch and ensures good hygiene practices. As a result, children develop physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Proper development helps children grow up with quality, enabling them to adapt and learn new things, which will make them ready to enter public schools. The current location of the learning center is in a steep public area of ??the community, making transportation and pickup of children difficult, especially during the rainy season when the roads become very slippery. Additionally, the school building is unstable, with fractures caused by earthquakes and floods, making it unsafe for children. At this time, the Association for the Promotion of Children, Youth, and Families has a new plot of land approximately 500 meters from the current learning center. However, there is still a lack of budget for the construction of a new school building for the children. Therefore, we request support from you to construct a new school building and cafeteria that are convenient for travel and provide stable and safe facilities for the children in the future. Please be assured that our association has its accounts audited by external auditors, pays corporate taxes every year, and submits a report to the Fang District Office, Chiang Mai Province.
