Phuket Has Been Good To Us

Since 2005, Phuket Has Been Good To Us works to provide quality English education for FREE to underprivileged Thai children in two government schools on Phuket island. Our team of qualified, fluent English speaking teachers provide classes of English and Mathematics and Science in English to over 600 disadvantaged children. In addition to our English classes, teachers and volunteers run Coconut Club: an afterschool programme for the students who have to live at school during term time because they are orphans or their families are unable to look after them. At Coconut Club, children can enjoy different activities from sports to cooking and arts & crafts while practicing their English skills. Our team works hard to give these children solid English foundations, greater opportunities in the future and the chance to achieve well-paid job positions. This is their only opportunity to break the cycle of poverty in their community and pursue their dreams: HELP US GIVE THEM A BRIGHTER FUTURE!
