We are four college students, who are held in quarantine due to being sent home from our university abroad. During this time we have been looking for ways to support those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the number of COVID-19 cases rising rapidly, one of the most important things is to support essential workers, notably healthcare workers, who are at the frontline of the fight against COVID-19. We’d like to take this opportunity to give back to healthcare workers, providing them the support they need to physically care for patients.
Upon research, we also found that local businesses are losing a great amount of their income due to government restrictions on operating hours. After hours of discussion, we came up with DROP BOX to send food to essential workers at state hospitals. Furthermore, we also hope to simultaneously support local businesses during this difficult time by pairing up with food vendors in the Bangkok area.
We are putting the “care” back into healthcare one meal box at a time through donating boxes to hospitals in Thailand.
