At Saved Souls Foundation, we are home for more than 550 dogs, but also cats, pigs, ducks,... Our shelter is situated near Khon Kaen in Thailand. Since 2010, we welcome abused or injured animals to save them and provide them a safe home. We became an official non profit organization in October 2017.

The Story

Saved Souls Foundation is a private animal shelter located deep in the heart of northeastern Thailand, where dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade, abusive situations and accidents, as well as other animals, have found a new, loving home. Many of these animals come to us so traumatized that they have lost all trust in mankind. It may take years of intensive socialization before these dogs are ever ready to trust humans again.

In October 2017 we became an officially registered non profit organization called Saved Souls Foundation, registration number 1/2560. Over 550 dogs, 45 cats, 4 pigs and numerous ducks have found a new home with us. Many disabled, blind and old dogs find a final home with us.

We believe in providing the best quality of life for all our animals. We cook fresh for them everyday. We provide them a run with other dogs for them to wait to get adopted by a loving family.

Everything we provide to our animals exists thank to the wonderful people who kindly donate money to us. Unfortunately, we are struggling every month to provide everything they need to our animals. At the moment, we desperately need donations for 2 emergency projects :

- Repair the roofs of the runs as they are falling apart. The raining season is in 4 months, and we have to fix it before the rain starts!

- Build a new cat house, for our lovely cats and kittens who are waiting in small cages everyday as we have nowhere to put them!

In addition, we also desperatly need donations to provide food and medication for our animals. We lack of medication to ease the pain of our sick or injured dogs, who sometimes have to wait days before getting their surgery.
