❤️ Help Bring My Sister Home and Give Her a Chance to Recover

My sister was involved in a serious accident while she was in China. The accident caused a severe lack of oxygen to her brain and resulted in seizures and serious brain injury. Since then, she has been fighting through an incredibly difficult journey.

After the accident, she required intensive medical treatment in the ICU. She was placed on a ventilator and underwent a tracheostomy. She also experienced brain swelling and required close medical monitoring. During part of her treatment, she also required dialysis.

She spent approximately 57 days in the ICU before being transferred to another hospital, where she continued receiving medical care and rehabilitation.

Today, our family has one very important reason to keep hoping:

She has woken up.

Although she is still unable to walk or care for herself, and she is not yet able to clearly recognize people or follow commands, she can open her eyes and show some responses through her facial expressions and movements.

She still needs extensive rehabilitation and ongoing care. Our family believes that continued rehabilitation and appropriate medical support may give her the best possible chance of improving her condition.

We are now working to bring my sister back to Thailand, where we hope she can continue her treatment and rehabilitation closer to her family.

However, transferring a patient with a serious brain injury who requires ongoing medical care is extremely expensive. The costs include medical treatment, transportation and medical transfer, rehabilitation, and long-term care.

Our family is doing everything we can to support her, but the financial burden of her treatment and long-term rehabilitation is more than our family can manage alone.
