The Story

Since 2009, https://www.goodshepherdcentrephukettown.com has assisted the hidden slum dwellers of Phuket. Living in inhumane, unsanitary conditions, they have empowered these poor women and children to protect themselves from human trafficking and exploitation. As a registered charity, over 700 children have graduated from their school and skills training has enabled many women to work for themselves.

Covid-19 has had a devastating effect on these vulnerable communities. Some families were boiling bugs to survive. GS identified 450 of the most vulnerable. For a week from April 15, we delivered survival bags to every family.

Our funds are running out. We were not able to feed these families last week. We desperately NEED YOUR HELP TO FEED THEM FOR THE NEXT 2 WEEKS.

100% of your donation will go directly to these poor families.

Buy a Survival Bag for a family of 4. Costs $10 (B35) and should last 1 week.

It consists of 5kg rice, 5 x 150g tins of sardines, 10 small packets of noodles, 1 bottle of oil & fish sauce, a bar of soap.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS!
