Hello everyone,
My name is James, and I’m one of the dads helping out with the Bangkok Lions U6 Rugby team. Like many rugby dads, I’m a little overweight, a bit slow, and definitely past my prime. But if there’s one thing I am, it’s motivated! and determined to prove myself (and a few others) wrong.
In January 2025, I completed the North Face 50km Ultra in Khao Yai National Park, raising 28,000 baht for Nak Suu, a local rugby charity.
This time, I’m taking things one step further.
In March 2026, I’ll be returning to Khao Yai to take on a 60km ultra marathon, raising funds to support the Bangkok Lions charity drive.
The funds raised will support three important initiatives:
- Helping female players from Lanna Rugby travel and compete in the Bangkok 10s
- Supporting Ang Thong Rugby with entry into the Bangkok 10s
- Providing project support for refugees in Mae Sot
Our goal is to raise 60,000 baht to make these three initiatives possible.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, your support will help create real impact in the Thai community, both through sport and beyond.
Thank you so much for your support
