COVID19 has emptied our war chest, people have missed flights and are now grounded in Phuket, with no accommodation and very little money.
We are doing our best to provide free accommodation and meals, however, we never expected this and need your help.
The Island of Phuket is now closed off from the world by land, sea and air until at least the end of April.
DSAT was formed to cover the MANY holes in the services provided by the Australian Consulate in Phuket for Aboriginals & Torres Straight Islanders.
Our aim is to provide practical help, advice & support to Aboriginals & Torres Straight Islanders, while in Phuket, Thailand.
DSAT is a volunteer delegation that relies on donations to operate and does not seek government funding, so is completely independent of government interference and lack of real understanding of Aboriginals & Torres Straight Islanders needs.
