Learning Center for Magical Autistic Children
ศูนย์เรียนรู้ เด็กออทิสติก กับสิ่งมหัศจรรย์
The Learning Center provides day care free of charge for 15 special needs children, providing education, art, exercise, day trips and one norishing hot cooked meal a day (often the only meal the child will get). The Center is a not-for-profit co-operative of parents and carers and has no official government recognition and receives no government support.
The children have a wide range of autism and other spcecial needs and age from 5 years to 25 years old. They are excluded from main stream schools and all come from low income families now devastated by the colapse of tourism in Thaland.
Learning Center is dependant on the good will of kind people who can donate their time or financial assistance. Your donations are much appreciated - via the Rotary Club of Samui-Phangan official receipts are available.
Thanks to Windfield International School our special needs children are able to use the pool and play ground once a week. A lovely oppportunity for the to run and jump, kick and splash. With a delitious lunch also provided.
Thank You @ https://windfield.ac.th

Happy New year from the Magical Autistic Learning Center. New year brings new challenges but with your support we continue to support the children. Rotary Club members give their time to help the hard working Thai staff with lessons and activities. But your help is disparately needed for ongoing expenses like learning materials and essential supplies to make a safe and healthy environment for these special children
We are always looking for ways to improve the lives of the children her on Samui. This young man suffers from epilepsy and has learning difficulties. He lives with his mother who can't drive or afford a car so has been house bound unless someone comes to take him out. However his mum can drive a motorbilke so Rotary had the idea to fund raise for one of these motorbike + sidecars. Thanks to some kind supporters he now has own transport and mum can take him out and about anytime!
