Earlier this May, I took in several stray animals all at once (I was already caring for 9 stray cats). They include:
1. A mother cat and her 5 kittens (2 females, 3 males). She was heavily pregnant and gave birth at an acquaintance's house. They were going to abandon them, so I took them all in out of pity.
2. A female puppy. She was abandoned at a local market. I found her and couldn't leave her behind, so I brought her home.
3. An orphaned female kitten. (Orange cat) I found her crying next to my house, so I took her in as well.
I have already spayed the mother cat. Now, there are 7 growing puppies and kittens (6 cats, 1 dog) who will reach reproductive age around the same time. Therefore, I am fundraising in advance to get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated against rabies over the next 2–3 months.
According to the clinic's schedule and price rates, the costs are as follows:
1.July & August: Spaying 3 female cats (1,000 THB each) = 3,000 THB
2.September: Spaying 1 female dog (Weight ~10.1–15 kg) = 1,800 THB
3. October: Neutering 3 male cats (800 THB each) = 2,400 THB
4. Rabies Vaccines: 80 THB per shot. Each animal requires 2 shots for full immunity. (7 animals × 2 shots = 14 shots) 14 × 80 THB = 1,120 THB
Total Spay/Neuter + Rabies Vaccine Costs = 8,320 THB
As a low-income earner who wants to help these stray animals, I am humbly asking for donations from kind-hearted people to help me end the cycle of stray overpopulation.
Once the procedures are done, I will update everyone with all the receipts.
