This winter I had the pleasure to spend several months, including the entire lockdown of Covid-19, on Koh Samui.
I had the pleasure to help a friend at her organised weekly food distribution in her restaurant for people and families in need. If you have ever met local Thai people you will agree that they are the most caring, friendly and humbled persons. They instantly welcomed me into their family and cared about me, making me feel part of the family immediately.
COVID-19 hit Koh Samui and entire Thailand very hard, as for travel restrictions to Thailand, there is no inbound tourism which means no one is visiting the island. I have been there and have seen how sad it was. Everything closed, for sale and many people struggling to provide for their living, but still, carry a smile all day long.
It is a really hard time everywhere in the world, but countries like Thailand depending on tourism have been hit really hard with minimal support provided. In these countries, it is possible to make A BIG CHANGE WITH GIVING ONLY A LITTLE.
If you also want to be able to visit your favourite destination soon again and/or just help to support them to get through these rough times and to pay for their food and rent - here is the chance. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS AND WILL GO DIRECTLY WHERE IT IS NEEDED TO PROVIDE FOR FOOD AND FAMILY NEEDS. EVEN ONLY 100 BAHT (AROUND CHF 3) IS ALREADY A MEAL FOR A FAMILY.
Let`s make this happen together and make the world a tiny bit better, so we can all train together again.
