Hello my name is danny and my wife is daw. we have been together for nearly 2 years and are expecting our first baby in weeks , Before covid happened we both worked but when daw fell pregnant she had to stop work i and i was happy for this as we are both in our 40s and this is my only chance to have a baby of my own, since ive been in thailand ive abided by all of the thai traditions and laws because i love this place and the thai people and especially the food. i had a good job and we saved money but since covid my job had to close im a counselor for drug and alcohol addicts and due to thailand restrictions our clients cant come so we had to close until the situation changes, in my opion thailand has done an incredible job in the way its dealt with covid and i wish the rest of the world would learn from this example but the western world is stubborn and very slow in learning. so the reason im asking for this help is we have now used our savings and have just enough for the hospital cost for our sons birth but my work is likely to remain closed for at least 6 months , i cant bare the thought of leaving my wife and son here and going back to the uk my life is here in Thailand with my thai family . the money im trying to raise is for 6 months expenses and a visa for me to remain. i cannot put into words what this would mean to us and once my work opens up again i will donate the entire amount given to us back to whichever causes people who donate ask me too. thank you so much for reading our story and if you can help us we will be forever grateful
