They Lost their Barn, Rice and One Tractor in a Fire

I, Miss Tiparat Siriruangsakul, daughter of the Siriruangsakul family, am trying to raise funds to help my family. My family has always worked hard and honestly in farming, but we have recently lost almost all of our property in a barn fire.

The incident happened on the night of April 29, 2026, at around 7:30 p.m., while nobody was at home. A fire broke out in the rice barn, causing significant damage to our property, including:

- The rice barn

- Approximately 15 tons of stored rice

- Seeds and equipment prepared for the next farming season

- Two carports and various pieces of equipment

- The cow barn, fortunately with no cows inside at the time of the fire

Regarding the tractor, it is covered by insurance. The insurance company is currently inspecting the damage. However, there is a possibility that no compensation will be paid.

If the policy conditions allow it, my family may at least be able to end the remaining loan repayment obligations.

However, the rice barn, the stored rice, and the other farming equipment were not covered by any insurance. The total damage is estimated at no less than 1,500,000 baht.

I am now hoping to raise at least 800,000 baht so that my family can start over, purchase the necessary items for the next farming season, and slowly rebuild our livelihood.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, means so much to my family.

Je soussignée, Mademoiselle Tiparat Siriruangsakul, fille de la famille Siriruangsakul, essaie actuellement de récolter des fonds afin d’aider ma famille, qui travaille honnêtement et avec beaucoup d’efforts dans l’agriculture, mais qui vient de perdre presque tous ses biens à la suite d’un incendie dans notre grange à riz.

L’incident s’est produit dans la nuit du 29 avril 2026, aux alentours de 19h30, alors que personne n’était à la maison. Un incendie s’est déclaré dans la grange à riz, causant d’importants dégâts matériels, notamment :

Les semences et le matériel préparés pour la prochaine saison agricole

Deux abris de stationnement ainsi que divers équipements

L’étable des vaches, heureusement vide au moment de l’incendie

Concernant le tracteur, il est couvert par une assurance. La compagnie d’assurance est actuellement en train d’évaluer les dégâts. Il est toutefois possible que nous ne recevions aucune indemnisation. Cependant, si les conditions du contrat d’assurance le permettent, ma famille pourrait au moins être libérée du reste des mensualités encore dues.

En revanche, la grange à riz, le riz stocké et les autres équipements agricoles ne sont couverts par aucune assurance. Le montant total des pertes est estimé à au moins 1 500 000 bahts (40 000€).

Aujourd’hui, je souhaite récolter au moins 800 000 bahts (21 000€) afin de permettre à ma famille de repartir de zéro, de se procurer les éléments nécessaires pour la prochaine saison agricole, et de reconstruire progressivement sa situation.

L’aide de chacun, quel que soit le montant, représente énormément pour ma famille.
