From the Treatment Table to the Boxing Ring: Fighting for a Brighter Future

My journey has always been defined by movement. Long before I became a Licensed Physiotherapist in 2018, I was a ballroom dancer, a cheerleader, and a performer. My life was a series of rhythms and disciplines. But alongside my love for physical activity was a deep appreciation for the opportunities I was given—academic excellence and life-changing exchange programs that my parents worked hard to provide.

They taught me a lesson I carry to this day: "Once you have fulfilled yourself, do not forget to share with those who truly need it."

More Than Just a Career

For years, my family and I have traveled to the remote borders of Thailand and Myanmar. We’ve seen schools 3–4 hours away from civilization, where the roads are mud in the rainy season and the winters are bitterly cold. We’ve built libraries, renovated canteens, and provided warm clothes to children who have nearly nothing. These kids don't just need resources; they need a chance, an opportunity, and a role model.

The "White Collar Boxing" Challenge

Now, I am stepping out of my comfort zone in Phuket and into the boxing ring.

As the Senior Physiotherapist at Optimise, I spend my days treating professional MMA, Muay Thai, and Jiu-Jitsu fighters. I’ve watched their "mind games" and their grit from the sidelines. Now, for the first time, I am the one under the lights.

Training every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday until our D-Day on May 9th, 2026, is a test of my own discipline. It reminds me of the days I spent as a little girl, "fighting" alongside my dad as we watched Muay Thai on TV. Today, that playfulness has turned into a mission.

Why I’m Fighting

This match isn't just about testing my physical limits—it’s about being a bridge.

A bridge between those of us who have the power to give.

A bridge for the children at the border who are waiting for their moment to shine.

I am fighting to raise funds for the Children’s First Fund. Every punch thrown and every drop of sweat in training is dedicated to providing these kids with the inspiration and support they deserve.

"I’ve spent my career helping people recover their strength. Now, I’m asking you to help me give these children the strength to build their futures."

How You Can Help:

I invite you—my clients, my friends, and my community—to join me. Whether it’s a small donation or sharing my story, you are helping to "shine a light" on a child's life.

Let’s make this count. See you at the ring on May 9th!
