Greetings!

I'm Molly. I'm known in the CSOs and activism circles for queer and trans rights, as well as, disabilities and accessibilities advocacy through lived experience.

As the state of my health deteriorates, I've reached a point where I need even more support to improve quality of life and independence. With standing, walking, and reaching my whole range of movements becoming more difficult, adjustments to my current mobility aid options are needed. A doctor suggested an electric wheelchair a few years back but it wasn't practical for my way of life. It still isn't. So, power assist for my active wheelchair became the answer.

This fund raising will hopefully help me acquire the product in time for my temporary move across the globe. It's partially to assure that when I'm no longer geographically close to my family to depend on their support day-to-day, I can take care of myself and those around me as best as I can.

Thank you so much for reading this even if you cannot contribute. I know how privileged I am to be able to set up this campaign at all. I'm grateful regardless of what shall come of it!
