The Story

Hi my name is Siri. I am an only child and was raised in the states. I am now 64 years old with no family. Once we moved back to Thailand my life was very well until my Father passed away. He had debts from his business so my mom and I had to sell it off and pay the debt. After that my mom health was deteriorating because she lost the will for life after dad died. My mom was a housewife and never worked in her life so it was me only supporting her and myself. Not long after that my mom had a stroke and then was bed ridden for a month. I lost all my savings for her medical bills because she didn't have health insurance. After that I worked to make ends meet for myself until a few years ago I had high blood pressure and was diagnosed that the high blood pressure for so many years without me know caused my kidneys to fail. I am now at stage 4 kidney failure. I had to retire and started doing translations jobs online which was going well until covid hit. Ever since covid my life has been a struggle and down hill. I could pay bills. Now I am living in a very small studio apartment that a dear friend helps for food and expenses each month of 8000 baht but it's still not enough to live or pay bills struggling from month to month. Plus with my kidney failure I need bottled water and fresh food all the time. I doing this funding is so I can have money save for what's left of my life to survive and not have to worry waking up every morning wondering where I going to get just a 100 baht to eat. Every baht counts for me and I would like to give my sincere thank you to those who donate and do merit to help.
