Raising funds for my cancer operation

Well, there's nothing special about me. You're such I like to think I'm a good person and if anybody was in need, I would try to help them out. That's a kind of person I like to think I am. My name is david watkins? I'm 70 this May I'm an ex-servicemen with 22 years in British Army so I'm a veteran. The reason I'm doing this and I must've made I hate to do it is because I've run out of options basically my insurers pacific Cross which I pay 90,000 nearly a year for and also I'm actually just signed up again and I'm in my second year will not pay for my operation. I've been diagnosed with bowel cancer stage one but here's the funny thing I'm covered for the radiotherapy afterwards but not for the actual operation. I've had a CT scan and the good news is it hasn't spread as yet into the other parts of my body however this will happen if I do not get this operation I need this Monday. I'm going down to see the surgeon to get my biopsy results and basically that is where we are with the cancer. I've never smoked. I've never drunk much I've always watched what I've eaten and I've always exercised regular but this could happen to anybody. I'm trying to feel upbeat about this but as the days go on this is starting to get to me I like to think I'm a pretty positive Person and 99% the time I am but this has took the window on my settles. I must admit however onwards and upwards keep the positive attitude that's the way forward that's what I plan to do and we'll see where we go from there. Basically I'd appreciate any support that any of you could give me in this time of need. I'm the sort of person that would help anybody out and I know for a fact that if I had the money and a friend needed what I've got I wouldn't hesitate in giving him the money and I also remember talking to a friend of mine months and saying that if any of my family needed a kidney or think I would bully give them it which I truly would anyhow that's enough waffle about this anything you can donate I will extremely appreciate and I will keep you informed of my journey just one more thing, basically the bottom line for all this is if I do not get this operation very quickly it will spread into the other parts of my body and I've done my research and I know basically I could be dead within the year which I'm already starting to get my head around and starting to get my will and all my affairs in order. So basically where we are now is the insurance brokers have said no they're not gonna give me the operation and no they're not gonna give me chemotherapy. The reason being as there was a technicality back in 2024 where they found microscopic particles of blood in my faeces and they are standing firm on that I am gonna try and fight this however I feel like it is a loss cause as they are in a very strong position which I have been told my other alternative now is to go down the Thai hospital route which I will be exploring this weekend and next week I see my doctor tomorrow and I will get a referral letter from her and also start the procedure to get all my medical records within the next 5 to 7 days as of Monday it has been two weeks since I've had a definite diagnosis of bowel cancer. The clock is ticking. 

Waiting for my insurance brokers to get back to me after they have spoke to the insurance again to see if there is a way they can let me have this operation if there is then what I shall do is I shall close this down and I'll take it all funds will be returned if not obviously I'll keep it open and just fingers crossed thank you
