Saisingthong Konlawit or Oz was Shakes's longest-serving team member working as our photographer from 2013 until 2021.
On Saturday 11.06.2022 he was in a motorbike accident and has been in a Coma since.
Ozzy, as we like to call him was a key member of our team who was always there for others. He loved helping people around him, smiled a lot and laughed even more.
Despite his language barrier, he always connected with new people in the studio wherever they were coming from. He was so much more than our photographer, our resident table tennis pro, and a fabulous person to hang out with, sing with and spend time with.
We are setting up this fund in order to support his wife and two young boys and help pay for his medical and other living expenses whilst he's in the Coma. If you have known Ozzy, you can only testify to his genuine character.
We hope you may be moved to help.
We are starting this fund by donating 20K towards this goal. If you're not in a position to give, please pray for Oz and his family and share this fund with any person Oz touched in his life.
Also this is the last day that I will leave donations open on this site. I'd like to thank everyone who's donated so swiftly and ask to continue to keep Oz in your prayers and thoughts. Together we have raised almost 90K Baht through Weeboon and other channels that will go to Oz's family to help them through this time. Thank you and God Bless.
Hi everyone, latest updates from Oz' side is that he is currently re-learning all basic motorskills rudimentary as walking, brushing teeth, etc. This loss of memory comes from the swelling of his brain stem which in most cases is a severe injury with little hope of recovery but since Oz woke up fairly fast just after 3 days it gives him a good chance of a healthy recovery.
Thank God! This morning, Oz's wife reported that Oz has regained consciousness and is able to understand speech, he hasn't lost any memory but his motor functions are still severely limited, as not being able to brush his teeth for example. The doctor said he's slowly recovering, let's continue to pray and keep Oz in our thoughts!
We heard this morning that Oz is doing better today than yesterday. He is showing signs of cognitive response, even some motor functions but without consciousness. Continue praying!
