The Story

Due to the onset of COVID restrictions, the tourist island of Koh Phangan is still going through a prolonged suffering. Combined with the civil war back in Myanmar, a lot of Burmese people are without jobs, and without support from their familys back at home.

The House of Sanskara have successfully funded in the distribution of rice staples for the local village in Haad Rin @ Koh Phangan, for the 5th time. Each distribution costs about 15,000 Thai Baht (or about $480 USD) but private funds from the house are running out and would like to reach out to the public for support to hold this momentum.

Once a month, we distribute an average of 100 to 150 bags of rice and cooking essentials.

From this campaign, we have continued to donate to the Haad Rin village with the help from other charity donors. 160 rice bags and 160 bottles of cooking oil were handed out on this day.
