We are the Association for the Promotion of Child, Youth, and Family (APCYF). Founded in 2002, our organization is built on the unwavering belief that "Every child has the right to an education, happiness, and safety, regardless of their cultural background, language, or origin." For over 20 years, we have served as a bridge of opportunity for vulnerable children in Thailand’s most remote and underserved areas.
The Story: A Reality Hidden Behind the Trees
Amidst the beautiful orange groves and fruit orchards of Fang District, Chiang Mai, lies a "hidden reality" tucked away behind the rows of trees. This region is home to thousands of migrant workers and their young children, aged 1 to 4 years old.
While parents work long hours under the sun, often in close contact with harmful agricultural chemicals, their children are frequently left in hazardous environments. Without proper supervision or access to age-appropriate nutrition—largely due to extreme poverty and lack of access to state welfare—these children aren't just missing out on meals; they are growing up with significant long-term health risks.
Our Mission: Creating a Safe Haven
To break this cycle of risk, we have established three Pre-school Development Centers to serve as a "Safe Haven" for 120 children.
Removing Children from Risk: We move them from chemical-heavy orchards into clean, creative, and nurturing classrooms.
Laying the Foundation for Life: We provide early education, language development, and social skills to prepare them for primary school.
Unconditional Care: We provide our services completely free of charge, alleviating the immense financial burden on impoverished migrant families.
How Your Support Changes Lives
Every contribution is directly transformed into tangible nutrition for these 120 children throughout the 2026 academic year:
Quality School Lunches: Providing all five food groups essential for early childhood development.
Milk for Growth: Ensuring children receive the calcium and nutrients vital for brain and bone development during their most critical years.
Sustaining the Centers: As we receive no financial subsidies from the government, your donations are the lifeblood that keeps these centers open and these children protected.
The Impact: Beyond the Meal
Your support is more than just a donation for food; it is an investment in a child’s right to grow up safe. When these children are healthy and educated, they gain the strength to break the cycle of poverty and grow into quality citizens. Together, we can turn "invisible children" into a visible and empowered future.
