Sisters On Samui
The Sisters of Samui have embarked on the ambitious project to upgrade and fully refurbish the Children’s and Maternity wards at the Nathon Hospital. This includes upgrading and replacing old and dilapidated equipments and services throughout. ALL facilities including treatment rooms, Nurses station, linen room, Community Courtyard, toilet and shower facilities and more will be attended to by this refurbishment. To date we have raised money through our Sisters on Samui functions held monthly and now we have requested support in the form of artwork from the Private Schools and Engineering involvement from our supporters in the International Hotels sector. Now we are actively seeking funds and donation of goods to assist with completion of this Community project scheduled to start on Monday the 30th July with completion in September 2018. Please note that 100% of all funds or goods donated go directly to the Project - all input by Sisters on Samui is voluntary!

The Story

We are a community here on Samui and we have come together to make a difference for all the abandoned and neglected Soi (street) dogs on Samui

Many animals suffer on the streets throughout Samui.

Too often, this overpopulation is dealt with through cruel means, such as poisoning, electrocution or shooting.

Sterilization is the only humane way to deal with an escalting issue on a small but beautiful island.

We will use the money to pay for either hugely discounted vet fees or to buy suplies for when those fabulous vets donate their time.

What began as a mutual-services contract between two very different species became something much more like love. None of that makes a lick of sense, but it doesn’t have to. Love rarely touches the reasoning parts of the brain. It touches the dreamy parts, the devoted parts—it touches the parts we sometimes call the heart. For many thousands of years, it’s there that dogs have lived.

Lets give them in return the best we can.

Please help us make Samui a truely dog friendly place for all the mutts out there.
